History
ABC group’s history begins in the heart of Beirut, in Bab Idriss, when we opened the doors of Lebanon’s first department store, abundant the Lebanese market with the best and latest in European fashion. Opening up to the rest of the country, the group gradually expanded to include locations in Hamra, Zahle, Tripoli, and Dbayeh, furthering its roots in the local culture. It was at the turn of the millennium, in 2003, that the ABC experience took a major step up with the inauguration of its new flagship store, ABC Achrafieh, which brought an all-encompassing shopping experience in one unique location. Following its success, the Dbayeh branch was renovated to reflect this renewed identity, adding a whole universe of shopping and entertainment just for children. The picture was finally completed in 2017 with the inauguration of the Verdun branch, a prime urban retail & entertainment destination.
